Job Description

Assistant Professor in Chemistry, Tenure-track \xe2\x80\x93 WVU KeyserWest Virginia University\'s Potomac State College campus, located in Keyser, West Virginia, seeks qualified candidates committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level in the following area: Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Chemistry. This position is full-time, nine months with full benefits, with a starting date of August 16, 2024. Duties: Teaching responsibilities include all Chemistry courses, with a primary focus in general and organic chemistry. Faculty are required to engage in service, and professional growth and development activities.Qualifications

• Assistant Professor: A minimum of a master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in chemistry from a regionally accredited college or university is required by time of appointment OR a master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field and 18 credit hours of chemistry.
• Excellence in previous college teaching experience is valued.
