Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self driven and adaptable Assistant Project Manager to oversee our contents packout and restoration projects from inception to completion. We are a locally owned fast growing company and are ready to add some career minded individuals who would like to grow with us. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating and directing packout teams, logistics of managing multiple jobs at one time including mobilizing crews and vehicles, coordinating the schedule with the property owners, contractor partners and adjusters as needed. Managing budget and estimates of jobs and ensuring that all projects are executed smoothly, on time, and within a budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Develop and implement detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with clients,referral partners and internal teams.

Conduct initial site assessments to evaluate damage, determine project scope, and create actionable plans.

Team Coordination:

Lead and coordinate packout teams, ensuring all members are informed, equipped, and motivated to execute their roles effectively.

Lead by example a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.

Client and Contractor Communication:

Communicate our process and benefits of working with 1-800-Packouts of Northern Colorado to the potential clients and contractor partners.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractor partners, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.

Build strong relationships with clients and packout teams, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

Quality Control:

Monitor project progress and performance to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.

Resource Management:

Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary materials and services.

Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.

Proactively address challenges and adapt plans as needed to ensure project success.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and financial records.

Use project management software (e.g., Xactimate, Restore365, or similar tools) to track and report project data.

Financial Oversight:

Track project expenses and ensure compliance with budget constraints.

Prepare financial reports and provide updates to management on project profitability.

Training and Development:

Assist in training team members on best practices, safety protocols, and company standards related to contents packout and restoration.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferably . Bonus if it is in the restoration, construction, or similar industry.

Strong knowledge of project management planning, methodologies and tools.

Experience in project management software a bonus.

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under pressure, be adaptable and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of contents restoration processes and techniques is a plus.

IICRC certifications are a plus.

Benefits:

Starting salary in the $57,000 - $65,000 range depending on experiencee with opportunities for growth and / or bonuses into the $80,000 range
