First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an Assistant Vice President & Branch Support Officer to join our team in the Service Delivery Division. In this role, the AVP & Branch Support Officer provides branch process expertise with focus on the Teller and Platform system and operational procedures. This position also identifies process improvements to align with branch operations and through the collaboration with other business units, deliver improved operational efficiency and effectiveness. The candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience and qualifications. Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary) The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor\'s degree in IT-related field and/or completion of the Service Manager Associate\'s Program and/or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of experience in bank operations; business analysis or a related field
• Must have a valid Hawaii Driver\'s license
• Good knowledge of CIP, BSA and AML policies and procedures
• Knowledge of branch teller and customer service representative functions and branch procedures
• Demonstrated ability to identify and propose solutions for areas of improvement
• Demonstrated ability to identify potential risk areas to the bank and to report information to management
• Strong communication skills to include active listening, presentation, writing and speaking
• Strong coaching skills to guide and develop individuals
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines to completion in a timely manner wiht quality results
• Able to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders, business partners and teammates to foster a collaborative work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applications
• Must be flexible to work before and after normal business hours and weekends with travel to various Retail Banking locations
