Ace Hardware - Immediate Assistant Yard Manager Needed

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and train staff in warehouse operations Staffing, scheduling of yard staff and coaching the team Assist in managing yard operations and inventory Inventory management and communication to buying team to maintain proper stock levels Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations Maintain a clean and organized work environment Overall responsibility for supervising, inspecting and managing all inbound and outbound freight Manage deliveries and bulk shipment pickups Liaise with drivers, vendors and customers for efficient operation of the receiving area Oversee fleet maintenance and safety Manage mezzanine organization Manage hazardous material storage/disposal procedures in compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines

Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment

Pay: $46500 - $51500 / year
