Associate Charge Description Master Analyst at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA

Under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Manager the Billing Specialist will be responsible for timely and accurate handling, preparation, and distribution of medical claims, charge posting, and payment postings.

Shift: Average 40 hours weekly, 8-hour day shifts, Full-time position

Required qualifications:

• 2 years previous experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in medical business office, including verification of insurance benefits, electronic and paper billing methods, accounting standards for adjustments and refunds and cash posting.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and Meditech.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
