Position Summary
Big Bend Community College is establishing a pool of qualified individuals for Part-Time/Associate Faculty ESL/GED/HS+ Instructors. Applications will be accepted continuously and will be used to determine interest for open positions that occur during the academic year.
This position will teach English as a Second Language (ESL), or reading, math, writing skills, and other high school credits required for graduation to adults who have minimal basic skills or do not have a high school diploma. Students may work toward learning English, a GED or if 18 years or older, a high school diploma (HS+). Positions are available in Othello, Quincy, and Mattawa with approximately 5-12 hours per week, days and/or evenings. These teaching positions are onsite face-to-face only. This position reports to the Director of BEdA Programs and works closely with the Division Chair as well as other faculty and staff.
