Job Description


As an Associate Finance Director, youll share your world-class analytical skills and passion for collaboration by partnering with our corporate business unit teams to move key business strategies forward. Youll expertly manage a dedicated team and ensure that plans are aligned with strategic and financial objectives, demonstrating your caring and capable approach to leadership. By providing insightful financial guidance around reports, analytics, forecasts, and targets, youll play a pivotal role in helping us exceed key metrics and deliverables. This role can sit in Chicago, IL, or Battle Creek, MI.

Using your can-do, go-getter attitude, youll meet budgets, and new people engaging with multiple levels of personnel throughout our company to get the job done.

HERES A TASTE OF WHAT YOULL BE DOING

  • Business Partnership - We believe in collaboration! In this role, you will interact with Cross-Functional Leadership to not only drive cost efficiency but play a critical role in transforming our Global Supply Chain and Global Procurement processes.
  • Spearheading Budgeting and Forecasting - Support the planning and forecasting processes and coordinate timely execution across teams and functions. Work to identify opportunities to upgrade tools and standardize processes to continuously increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Providing Decision Support - Review and approve analysis, and provide guidance and recommendations that are used for business decisions and strategy development.
  • Introducing Simplification and Automation - Identify Global opportunities to upgrade tools and standardize processes to continuously increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Investing in Personal Career Development - Participate in functional or career development training to increase knowledge and skills.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Business-related field.
  • Progressive experience in the Finance field.
  • Strong decision-making, business partnering, and communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to collaborate and influence.
  • Analytical experience with proven ability to forecast.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Consumer Packages Goods Experience is an asset.
