:Associate Infection Preventionist at Providence Portland Medical CenterFull-time/ DayBased on commensurate experience and certifications, candidates may qualify for Infection Prevention Specialist or Senior Infection Preventionist positions.The Associate Infection Preventionist is the entry-level position for Infection Prevention. A candidate for this position must have a sufficient healthcare background but requires only basic infection prevention/epidemiology knowledge, as the majority of training will occur on the job.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they\'re invaluable. • Bachelor\'s Degree - Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field or equivalent educ/experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
• Master\'s Degree - Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology and related health science field.
• 2 years - Healthcare and/or Epidemiology related experience.
