THE ROLE

The Associate Sales Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Walmart/Sams, will lead relationship management and communication with Walmart and/or Sam\xe2\x80\x99s Club for a portion of the Babyganics, Method and Mrs. Meyers brands across several departments/categories. Be responsible for a portion of Sales externally with the customer and own communication with internal sales planning teams for these areas of ownership. This role will report to the LSB Sr. Director of Walmart/Sams Club and support the work of the full WM/Sam\xe2\x80\x99s sales team.

Please note: This is a home office-based role. Ideal candidate will ideally live in Bentonville AK or nearby with the ability to travel to attend customer calls.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The Associate Sales Manager \xe2\x80\x93 WM/Sams will:

Have a significant influence and require a high level of execution, to support high-impact decision making, strategic planning and customer relationship management.

Retail Partner Management - Annual Planning, JBP, Trade Management, buyer meetings, relationship management

Data Analysis + Sales Presentations - Analytic support for WM meetings, Pull internal data and or retail POS data, Weekly POS reporting / Monthly Trend Reporting, New Item, Ltd Ed & Seasonal Tracking, Price Analysis, Competitive Intel & Line Listing Updates

Forecasting + Planning - Day to Day questions on trends, Promo Planning/Analysis , Endcap Planning, Promo Analysis (endcaps, circle, ads)

Other - Social Commerce/Omni, Ad Hoc Analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Bachelor\'s Degree

5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Sales calling on Walmart/Sams or other relevant customer experience \xe2\x80\x93 OR - Advanced Degree, and 3+ years experience in Sales calling on Walmart/Sams or other relevant customer experience

Preferred Skills:

General Management mindset; proven ownership approach to business

Ability to manage budgets and overall trade management

Strong analytical skills. Solid experience in analyzing syndicated reports or using trade management tools (IRI, Nielsen, Retail Link, exceedra)

Stamina, character, sense of humor, detail-oriented tactician with proactive approach and work ethic appropriate for a fast-paced, team-oriented, growth company

Ability to independently assess data, integrate into selling stories and leverage it to grow our business

High degree of curiosity on consumer/retail behaviors + insights

Proven track record of delivering consistent positive business results

Excellent presentation skills and a colorful storyteller

Eagerness to grow and develop skillset

Team player eager to support others & build group culture
