Associate Medical Director (Express Care/Urgent Care) - $45,000 Sign on Bonus!

Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is growing! CVCH is a dynamic, progressive community health center with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. We have an excellent opportunity for a Associate Medical Director/Family Medicine Physician at our East Wenatchee location.

The Medical Director is a senior level administrative position with responsibility for all medical services at the assigned CVCH site. This responsibility includes the authority to oversee all aspects of healthcare delivery, regulatory compliance, quality, e\xef\xac\x83ciency, and the supervision of assigned medical providers. This is a full-time position, currently 0.2 FTE Medical Director and 0.8 FTE Family Medicine Physician, as assigned by the Chief Medical O\xef\xac\x83cer (CMO). Clinical duties include inpatient and outpatient services as a primary care physician including on call responsibilities where appropriate. The Medical Director is directly accountable to Chief Medical O\xef\xac\x83cer.

Position Requirements:

• Education: Physician candidates - Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school and must have completed a residency program. Must be a board- certi\xef\xac\x81ed primary care physician.
• APP candidates - Must be an experienced APP having practiced medicine for five or more years recently (in last 10 years).
• Certification/Licensure: Must possess current, valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington. Must have a valid DEA license. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. ACLS or ATLS may be used to substitute for BLS.
• Experience: Physician candidates - Must possess experience in a leadership role which demonstrates administrative responsibilities in a progressive health care facility and includes personnel management, \xef\xac\x81scal controls, health planning, and other related activities. Experience working in a community health center or managed care environment preferred. Combination of practice and leadership experience will be considered.
