Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Salt Lake City, Utah. Support engineering projects for the Firm using current technologies hosted in public cloud and current tooling for SDLC and observability. Safeguard the production environments, perform all the functions from architecture design (or redesign), automation, providing observability tooling, defining, and monitoring SLOs, production support and incident management. Balance feature development velocity and reliability with well-defined SLOs. Run the Production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health. Drive incident management process and support a blameless post-mortems culture. Partner with development teams to improve services via rigorous testing and release procedures. Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning. Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.

Job Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. Employer will accept bachelor\'s degree equivalent based on single degree, combination of degrees, combination of degrees and academic coursework, academic coursework, or combination of degree(s) and professional work experience, where determined to be equivalent to U.S. bachelor\'s degree by a qualified credential evaluation service and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related systems engineering role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with the following: leveraging at least one of the following: Go, Python, C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby or shell scripting; applying principles of algorithms, data structures and software design to build engineering solutions; and working with UNIX operating systems internals and/or networking.
