GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Wyoming Department of Health, Behavioral Health Division (Division) is seeking an At-Will Employee Contract (AWEC) State Opioid Response Project Coordinator. This position will provide daily oversight and administration of the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.

  • Serves as the Division\'s primary point of contact (POC) for SOR grant sub-recipients.
  • Administers the SOR grant as directed, including developing procedures for the day-to-day conduct of the grant program; providing grant guidance to sub-recipients; approving and coordinating the processing of sub-recipient reimbursements with the agency\'s fiscal staff; overseeing the completion and submission of all grant-related paperwork; and coordinating and conducting sub-recipient site visits.
  • Monitors budget expenditures to ensure compliance with state and federal fiscal rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement compliance measures to ensure program goals are accomplished according to federal grant guidelines.
  • Makes day-to-day decisions on grant policies and procedures, ensuring program performance meets the grant\'s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Consult/coordinate with federal and state officials on grant program performance.
  • Drafts grant reports and contract documents
Qualifications

PREFERENCES:

Preference will be given to candidates with experience with federal regulations, monitoring, and compliance.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in fiscal and contract management.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Typically, the employee will sit comfortably to perform the work, however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, and carrying light items
