Responsible for sports medicine and rehabilitation care to the athlete in the clinic and during athletic practices and events.

Responsibilities

Safety

Record Keeping

\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required, including but not limited to payroll, schedules and status changes.

Process Improvement

\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd Promotes a culture of process improvement by establishing unit/department based programs that supports the system\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbds process improvement goals.
\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams.
\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd Assists with coverage during staff shortages and periods of high census/workload.
\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd Develops appropriate Plan of Care.

\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd Provides care to the athlete during organized athletic events.

Qualifications

\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbd Bachelor\xc3\xaf\xc2\xbf\xc2\xbds degree in Athletic Training
