In addition to the guest experience, the primary responsibility of the adventure park crew is to ensure the safety of all of the park's guests, and to provide assistance and guidance where needed. You will be doing tours but half of your time you will also be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the fleet of vehicles.
This is a physically demanding and dirty job. Candidates must be willing to work in all kinds of weather with all kinds of people.
Schedule:
Full Time (40 hours a week) - You must have full availability (Meaning have availability to work all seven days of the week). The schedule is 4 - (10 hour) days. Specific days of the week will be determined after training. Most schedules are 8am-6pm. Some days start as early as 7am and some as late at 9am.
This is not a temporary hire. Please only apply if you plan on working the position for a minimum of a year.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must currently be located on the island of Oahu - All interviews must be in person at the park.

Ability to make a good first impression and instill confidence in others as a safe tour guide
Serious-minded when it comes to safety
Being physically fit. (Must weigh under 275 lbs.)
MUST BE knowledgeable about vehicles, specifically ATV's
Perform basic corrective maintenance if and when a vehicle breaks.
Assist in maintaining any and all vehicles used at Coral Crater.
Must be willing and able to run errands for the park for gas, auto parts etc.
Must assist in trail maintenance when required.
Qualifications and Skills
:
Ability to manage self and daily tasks in a rapidly changing environment
Must have flawless safety record and know safe working practices around vehicles
Must be able to use the variety of hand tools and vehicular maintenance tools and equipment which are necessary for our operation.
Will, when required, drive Company vehicles in a safe manner.

When you are at the park you will be working during your entire shift. It is fun but it is also work.
You must be willing to help clean, do errands and do maintenance around the park when asked.
Must be professional in appearance. No facial piercings, no facial/neck tattoos, or no extreme makeup/hair.
We will be checking references and doing a background check upon hire.
Pay:
Pay is $16.50 after training for full time. All guides go through a couple of weeks of extensive internal training. You will also start getting TIPS and commissions once you become a guide; Top guides average, with tips, around $30 per hour during the busy season.
As an employee you will also be eligible for a perfect attendance / performance monetary incentive each month, quarter and for the year. This incentive is equivalent to an additional $4 per hour on top of your normal pay. Please inquire during your interview.
During the off season there is opportunity for maintenance and projects at the park at your hourly rate to help you gain more hours if you are interested.
