ResponsibilitiesAudiologist assessment of all ages to determine the nature and degree of hearing loss, review the implication of hearing loss regarding communication, provide information regarding listening strategies and amplification to help compensate for the hearing loss, dispense hearing aids and provide follow-up care. Participates in the universal newborn hearing screening program. Oversees Audiology Assistant.QualificationsMinimum level of education includes a post-graduate doctoral degree AuD in Audiology.
Current State of Minnesota-Audiologist License.
