We are looking for an experienced and motivated Audiologist to provide support, guidance, including diagnostics, hearing instrument fittings, verification and aural rehabilitation as well as perform hearing evaluations for our Veterans' Administration C&P claims. Audiologist must be able to perform:
Perform and interpret comprehensive hearing examinations including air and bone conduction, stenger testing, speech reception threshold, and word recognition testing
Perform otoscopy and cerumen removal management
Perform and interpret middle ear analysis using tympanometry and DPOAE & TEOAE testing
Conduct electronic medical record review including audiogram history and military noise history
Conduct electronic medical record review including audiogram history and military noise history
Perform medical opinion writing as the subject matter expert for hearing loss and tinnitus cases
C&P hearing examinations are one-time, no treatment examinations
Make the most appropriate recommendations and perform hearing instrument fitting/programming, and objective verification of validated prescriptive targets using probe-mic measurements
Expertise in aural rehabilitation, counseling and experience working with children and adults with hearing loss
Comply with FDA guidelines, maintain patient confidentiality complying with HIPAA and VA rules and procedures as well as A&A Audiology practice guidelines and maintain professional licenses and CEU requirements.
Achieve and maintain levels of professional statistics that are indicative of a high standard of patient centered care.
Must have the ability to become proficient with computer software applications commonly used in a modern automated patient care environment, equipment, and evaluation tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a patient-centered approach to hearing healthcare

Clear, active, and unrestricted license from the state of Arizona
Previous VA and experience performing C&P exams is preferred but not necessary. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
