Idaho Central Credit Union\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As an Auto Finance Underwriter, you will coordinate lending with outside organizations, form work relationships inside and outside of the Credit Union, and assist in the organization of work-related paperwork.

Responsibilities

At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

• Compiling and verifying credit information to make credit granting decisions within the rules established by policy and procedure.
• Reviewing loan applications and ensuring documentation accuracy for auto dealers.
• Aiding in the processing and disbursement of loans.
• Completing loan contracts, forms, and other documentation clearly and accurately.
• Communicating effectively with dealers, members, and others outside the Credit Union.
• Maintaining a positive and productive relationship with organizations associated with indirect lending.
• Assisting in conducting audits to ensure loan policies and procedures are followed.
• Assisting in marketing to dealers.

Qualifications

Before you apply, make sure you have:

• The ability to use a calculator and a computer.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel programs.
• The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

Also, please let us know in your application if you have:

• A Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• 1-2 years of lending experience.

This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
