Automation Business Analyst\' feed Automation Builders the opportunities to reduce FTEs, Lower cost, and/or Increase revenue.
FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES


  • Accelerate loading of the automation funnel - Identify automation opportunities through Discovery sessions or Process and Task mining with timely follow-up on results.

  • Expand publicizing the capability across SLUHN and conduct Discovery workshops - Within areas such as Supply Chain, Rev Cycle, Nursing, Accounting & Finance, and others to identify automation opportunities.

  • Faster generation of Process Definition Documents (PDD) \xe2\x80\x93 for faster development of Automation solutions.

  • Monitor for optimization \xe2\x80\x93 Contrasted committed benefit to actual and report out to Workforce Automation as part of SLUHN Enterprise Digital


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather and document the business value and requirements associated with IT automation requests.

  • Understand user requirements and support users and development teams during the development, testing and deployment phases of projects. This includes clarifying requirements, resolving issues, creating Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and other needs.

  • Identify and document business value for automation submissions,

  • Support financial analysis, assisting IT and business leads with financial calculations.

  • Provide rough labor estimates of initiatives meeting criteria for BA involvement to the IT Resource Management team.

  • Assist with the identification of meaningful KPIs associated with automation initiative.


PHYSICAL AND SENSORY DEMANDS:

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration (or relevant major) or equivalent work experience is required.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2 years of financial and/or business analysis experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a team environment and an ability to work independently with little oversight required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience performing implementation assessments or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
