Seeking experienced Automation Techs in the Columbia SC area!! The ideal candidate will hold a background in either mechanical, electrical, or automation electronics and have a willingness to learn and grow within a company.

work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: High School

responsibilities:

• 1rst and 3rd shift available

• 12 hour shift: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components and return these systems to serviceability

• Understanding of power tools and measuring equipment

• The Automation Technician supports engineering automation services including hardware and software design and development.

• Execute timely maintenance tasks on all subsystems and related components

• Comlete maintenance of robotic and process support equipment.

• PLCs knowledge

• Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for solutions in product or method.

• Safety awareness

• Refer to and understand electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.

• Examine engineering test results, and apply changes to create solutions.

• Team up with the automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.

• Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.

• Trains other technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.
