Job Description



Automotive Finance Manager needed in the greater Burlington, VT market. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Finance Manager in a dealership setting and will have a proven track record of good grosses and clean paperwork. The Automotive Finance Manager / Business Manager hired will be responsible for helping customers finance their vehicle purchases. Accordingly, this person will be responsible to work with customers to evaluate credit, explain financing options, and complete the necessary paperwork. Likewise, the Finance Manager hired will be responsible to act as a liaison between the dealership and lenders, negotiate financing terms, and ensuring compliance with regulations. It is important that the Finance Manager hired makes sure to present additional products and services, such as extended warranties to each customer during the financing process. This person will be one of two F&I Managers at the dealership and turns will be split evenly. As a dealership Finance Manager this person will be expected to provide a smooth financing process to each customer to maintain the store\'s positive reputation and to achieve lifelong repeat customers. 5 day work week and very competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Financing: Automotive Finance Managers work with customers to secure financing for their purchase. They evaluate credit scores, financial histories, and other relevant information to determine eligibility and offer financing options.
  • Liaison Between Dealership and Lenders: They serve as the intermediary between the dealership and various lending institutions, such as banks and credit unions. They negotiate terms, interest rates, and other financing details on behalf of the customer.
  • Explaining Financing Options: Automotive Finance Managers educate customers about their financing choices, including loans and extended warranties. They answer questions and provide information to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Completing Documentation: They are responsible for ensuring all required paperwork and documentation are properly completed and submitted. This includes loan or lease agreements, credit applications, and other legal documents.
  • Compliance: Automotive Finance Managers must be well-versed in the legal and regulatory requirements of automotive financing to ensure all transactions are compliant. They also need to stay up-to-date with changing industry regulations.
  • Sales and Upselling: While their primary role is in finance, they often work closely with sales teams and may be involved in upselling additional products and services, such as extended warranties, insurance, or maintenance packages.
  • Customer Service: They provide a high level of customer service, addressing customer concerns and providing solutions to ensure a positive experience during the financing process.
  • Other Duties: as required
Compensation and Schedule:
  • Compensation will be in the $140,000 - $220,000 depending on experience and performance.
  • 5 day work week
  • Full benefits package including health, dental, and PTO will be provided
