Description
The Applied Science Division of the Leidos Innovation Center is seeking a talented technical Program Manager for Autonomous Systems. Working within our Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Autonomy branch, you will help our customers solve some of their most challenging problems in autonomous systems by leveraging unique modeling and simulation, software, and algorithm solutions. You will leverage existing unique capabilities from across the company as well as propose and develop new capabilities to meet customer requirements. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Work will be based in the Dayton, Ohio area!
Primary Responsibilities
As the Program Manager, you will manage a multi-faceted architecture and software development effort of importance to the company and the customer. You will identify, develop, engage and retain a high performance program team that crosses organizational and geographical boundaries. You will seek out and identify unfilled customer needs in order to grow the scope of your program beyond its current bounds.
You will keep the program \xe2\x80\x9csold\xe2\x80\x9d by not only ensuring on-time Leidos deliveries, but working side by side with the client to understand the nuances of what will help the program succeed in the end user\xe2\x80\x99s eyes. This will require lots of listening, and maintaining open communications, both with the customer and internal to our team. As our face to the customer, is imperative that you have excellent oral and written communication skills.
