Cabling installation and termination (all media types); cabling testing and documentation
Install cameras, TV\xe2\x80\x99s, speakers and other Audio Visual equipment
Perform all cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, terminating, and testing in accordance with BICSI standards, National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulations
Continually demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Create a positive impression with all customers.
Provide value to customers with difficult issues through use of good listening, communication, and problem solving skills
Perform all work in a neat and quality manner
Travel to job sites anywhere in the state of Colorado, may also be required to travel outside of Colorado
Minimum Requirements
Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools; ability to lift/carry/setup a 50-pound box or ladder
Must own low voltage tools, snips, cable strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime as needed and can work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to travel on occasion
Must pass 7-year criminal background check and must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
Preferred Experience (not required)
High School Diploma
BICSI, Technician, or Installation Certification
Powder Actuated tools Certification
Confined Space Certification
CPR and First aid certified
Manufacturers certifications for Installation and Maintenance

Job Summary:The Audio Visual Installation Technician is responsible for various installation activities including, but not limited to: pre-wire on new and retrofit construction, installation of audio, video, security and automation systems, setup of computer networks and computer systems, pick up of supplies and materials and other duties. The Installation Technician will perform repairs and installations from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms and work with tools and equipment in hard to reach places. This requires standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tight uncomfortable positions. Position also requires lifting, carrying, and setting up equipment that weighs up to 25lbs. Occasionally, the Technician may lift and carry items that weigh over 50 pounds.
