Avino\'s Italian Table in Bellport, NY is seeking a full-time experienced Head Chef.

Avino\'s Italian Table (avinositaliantable.com) is a second-generation family-owned and operated establishment with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Our menu features old-world dishes from Northern and Southern Italy, creative martinis, and an extensive wine selection.

The ideal candidate has the ability to take initiative and show leadership while at the same time being a great team player. You\xe2\x80\x99re a natural leader by example. You love to cook and have a passion for hospitality.

Position:

• Head Chef

Compensation:

• $85-105K BOE
• Paid weekly
• Health insurance contribution
• Paid time off

• Yearly bonus pay

Schedule requirements:

• 5 to 6 days a week
• 55 hours a week
• 5 days per week
• 11:00am to 10:00pm

Language requirements:

• English
• Spanish helpful

Experience:

• 5+ years of previous Head Chef experience in a fine dining/ upscale casual restaurant
• Italian cuisine
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Staff training and motivation
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Scheduling
• Managing 5-10 people
