Leidos is currently seeking a junior Back-End Developer to promote United States Space Force by developing software in promotion of the Space Systems Command Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, protect, and react to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. The Opportunity:

As a junior Back-End Developer with Leidos, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework that offers proven, integrated standards, practices, and competencies to implement steer, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, protect, and react to United States Space Force mission systems.

Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.

Works on high-visibility or critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties freely.

Oversee efforts of less senior staff and accountable for efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Ensure consistent submission of high-quality products to the Government.

Convey clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy\xe2\x80\x94oral and written.

What Sets You Apart:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics related specialty.

Scaled Agile Framework for Teams certification is a prerequisite (or ability to obtain).

At least one year of background.

Background in the following programming languages (at least 2): C, C++, Java, JavaScript, & Python.

Familiarity & knowledge: System Integrity Management Program Project, Ansible, Docker, Global Information Tracker, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, PostgreSQL.

Background or knowledge in the following areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, software development life cycle management, cross-functional team.

You Might Also Have:

Current DoD Secret security clearance.

Programming languages: C#, HyperText Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets, Hypertext Preprocessor, R, Perl.

Certified Scaled Agile Framework practitioner, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and Certified Scrum Master.

Education: Technical Scaled Agile Framework Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree.

Basic knowledge in the following: Scaled Agile Framework: DevOps, Git, GitHub, bash, Bitbucket, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Subversion, Kibana, ElasticSearch Web Services, continuous improvement.

Relevant DoD and/or Industry work background in Space Systems Command.

Background with Cyber Operations Branch (Shared Services Center/Cyber Operations) program office.

Advisory and Assistance Service, or System Engineering and Technical Assistance to Government program office.

Background with Automated Customer Account Transfer Level 1, Level 2 acquisition programs.

Clearance Needed:

U.S. citizenship. No current clearance needed; but ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $53,300.00 - $82,000.00 - $110,700.00
