We are currently recruiting for a Barista to join our Starbucks team!
The Barista contributes to the company success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Starbucks Experience for our local patrons and hotel guests by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Models and acts in accordance with the guiding principles of the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, providing eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the coffee shop area; anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of the company.
Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard.
Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs.
Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all Team Members during each shift.
Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that Team Members can locate resources and product as needed.
Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

Must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding Company appearance standards at all times.
Must be able to apply commonsense understanding, in carrying out instructions

Must be able to work well as a part of a team.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Prior Food and Beverage, Coffee/Barista, Restaurant experience preferred.
