The barista will prepare high quality beverages and serve products/pastries while providing great customer service for the Coeur d' Alene Casino Resort guests while ensuring a clean and productive environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and tear down scheduled area and ensure daily duties are performed.
Utilize proper training and drink making techniques for making quality products.
Organize, clean and rotate stock in display cases, counters and coolers.
Follow proper sanitation and food handling practices.
Prepare menu items and drinks quickly, consistently, and efficiently.
Assist any Barista in any form to ensure Customer satisfaction.
Clean assigned work area, restock as needed and finish all end of shift duties.
Coordinate, work with, and help fellow employees.
Communicate with other Baristas, Managers, and Customers in a positive and effective manner.
Ensure all products that are served are of the highest quality for our guests.
Help be a part of a positive team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Minimum of 6 months experience as a Barista, preferred.
6 months previous customer service experience required.
Skills/Knowledge:
Cashier skills preferred.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with hands required.
Ability to use products and machine(s) effectively while performing duties preferred.
Must be able to follow instructions & measurements precisely.
Must work well in a small proximity, team environment.
Ability to multi-task is a must.
Ability to manage conflict and to influence outcomes required.
Good verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and organizational skills required.
Ability to handle ambiguous and complex situations; to develop new solutions is required.
Must be able to stand for 8+ hours/for entire shift.
