Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Prepare and maintain syrups, infusions, milk punches, and other ingrediants.
- Prepare and maintain garnishes (e.g., dehydrated fruit)
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient bar operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and various drink recipes
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid ID for alcohol service compliance
