: BAS Technician performs preventive maintenance, repairs and installation of building automation and HVAC controls systems.

Job Duties:

Install/Program/Commission building automation systems.

Effectively communicate the status and operation of the building automation system to the team.

Work both in a team environment or on their own with minimal supervision.

Must have a desire to learn, to succeed, to set goals, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.

Capable of performing other duties as required.

Qualifications:

A strong background and knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and electronics.

Good communication skills and strong computer skills.

Valid driver s license and can pass the background requirements.

Ideal candidate will have building automation programming experience.

Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently. The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

May work with or around typical construction materials and chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheets.
