That\xe2\x80\x99s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position Overview:The Behavioral Health Specialist supports the PHP milieu by facilitating therapeutic skills groups, self-monitoring and activity groups, providing therapeutic meal support at mealtimes and snacks, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistanceSchedule: Full Time Day Shift

• Monday-Friday with Sundays as assigned.
• Days will be assigned based on department needs.

How Behavioral Health Specialists empower recovery:

• Facilitates therapy groups including skills groups, self-monitoring groups, and experiential activity groups which may include art activities, music, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation, and movement
• Participates in therapeutic supported meals and snacks
• Contributes to the creation and maintenance of a recovery-oriented therapeutic environment
• Provide resident support and in-the-moment skills coaching
• Participates in treatment team, mini team, therapy team, supervision, and/or case consultation meetings and seeks supervision when needed
• Completes clinical documentation in compliance with The Emily Program and Veritas policies and regulatory standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in mental health-related field required. If degree is not in a mental health-related field, a degree in another field and equivalent experience required.
• Must have valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and be authorized to drive.
• Previous direct mental health experience preferred
