That\xe2\x80\x99s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position OverviewBehavioral Health Technicians (BHT\xe2\x80\x99s) monitor and assist adult clients in the residential milieu, lead activities designed to help the residents adjust to living in a community setting and assist the residents in gaining the skills needed to manage their eating disorder. BHT\xe2\x80\x99s play an integral role in the day-to-day function of the clients\xe2\x80\x99 experience.ScheduleFull Time: 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) with every other weekend requiredOvernights: 10p-6:30a and 12-8:30a combination of both shifts.How BHT\xe2\x80\x99s Empower Recovery

  • Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming
  • Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation
  • Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts
  • Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise.
  • Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required with one year of Mental health experience or
  • Bachelors degree in Mental health field with 0-1 year of experience
  • Must have valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and be authorized to drive
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred
