That\xe2\x80\x99s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position OverviewThe Behavioral Health Technician supports the Adolescent residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.Schedule

• Full Time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) Evenings/Overnights with rotating weekends
• Evening Shifts: 2p-10:30p, 4p-12:30a
• Overnight Shifts: 10p-12:30a, 12-8:30a
• Every other weekend required
• Schedule is made a month at a time with a combination of both start times

How Behavioral Health Technicians Empower Recovery

• Facilitates therapeutic activity groups which may include art activities, music, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation, games etc.)
• Participates in therapeutic supported meals and snacks
• Provides milieu support including escorting clients to on-site provider appointments
• Ability to engage, coach, and support residents as needed
• Participates in scheduled supervision and seeks supervision when needed
• Completes clinical documentation in compliance with The Emily Program and Veritas Collaborative policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with one year of Mental health experience or
• Bachelors degree in Mental health field with 0-1 year of experience
• Must have valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and be authorized to drive
• Per MN state law, you must be 21 years of age or older to work in the Anna Westin House Adolescent residential facility
