Today, Sheridan MN offers a complete book solution that encompasses printing and binding, fulfillment, eBook conversion, eCommerce solutions, and more\xe2\x80\x94all in-house, all at competitive prices.Job Summary:

• Learn to interpret the information on the work order and its contents.
• Follow daily running order provided by Scheduling Team.
• Feed books/signatures into machine.
• Pack books into cartons.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Maintain high throughput by performing quick and efficient make-readies and job changeovers.
• Inspect for quality defects ensuring quality standards are achieved.
• Be sure all waste is disposed of properly.
• Perform preventative maintenance, general cleaning and upkeep of machine and auxiliary equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime and other shifts required.
• Prompt and reliable attendance required.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• One (1) year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work with the following tools or machinery:

• Pallet mover
• Retractable knife
• Pallet wrap holder

Physical RequirementsWork is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs
• Willing to work all shifts
• Hearing protection required
• Safety toe shoes required
