Newark Beth Israel is looking for a Medical Technologists
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs and interprets routine diagnostic assays on blood and body fluids
Performs all duties related to the preparation, identification, and testing of specimens
Performs all related documentation tasks
Participates in evaluating, documenting, and implementing technical assays
Provides guidance to non-certified personnel
QUALIFICATIONS:
Meets education and experience equivalent to the guidelines mandated by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), CLIA and the New Jersey State Department of health and Senior Services (NJSDHSS) laws
Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field
ASCP or NCA certification preferred

The pediatric staff pharmacist works in the decentralized pharmacy satellite and provides collaborative pharmaceutical care to the Children\xe2\x80\x99s Hospital of New Jersey including NICU and PICU, and the emergency department.
