Sayres is seeking a BMD Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT) SME to support of the Commander Naval Surface Force Pacific and Afloat Training Group Pacific in San Diego to include training standards development and analysis, monitoring, analyzing and tracking ships in training, departmental executive support, scheduling and conflict management, quality assurance, data analysis, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) training requirements generation, program management, and mission area certification.

Requirements:

• Experience developing and implementing TDL plans in support of BMD operations, exercises and tests.
• Experience planning and implementing tactical data communication paths including: LOS Link 11(A), LOS Link 16, Satellite-J, Joint Range Extension Protocol, SHF/EHF Multi-TDL-J, JTT, IBS-S/I
• Instructor/trainer or operational experience serving aboard a BMD configured AEGIS ship or at a BMD command/agency.
• Experience conducting BMD training and evaluation as a training team member.

Qualifications:

• Strong working experience of current TDL monitoring systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong working experience of BMD Tactics, Technical Systems, and Instructions, including COMNAVSURFORINST 8820.2 series requirements and Tactical memorandums
• Knowledge and experience with AEGIS Combat Systems; its components and instructions
• Working experience of BMD Command and Control issues, regarding surveillance, engagement and planning functions required for each of the various numbered fleets
• Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS

Salary:

• The salary for this position is likely $70,000 - $85,000. Salary ranges are not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
