We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing behavioral therapy interventions to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and determine appropriate interventions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approaches across settings.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques and strategies.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis and special education.
Qualifications
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Experience working with children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.
Familiarity with special education practices and patient assessment methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
