Overview:
Audacy San Diego has an opening for an experienced Part Time Board Operator on 97.3 The Fan. This opportunity puts you behind the controls during live, locally produced shows, and sporting events. Must have a general understanding of professional sports, an ear for quality audio mixing, and ability to identify/edit relevant sports audio. Experience operating a broadcast console and/or producing live play-by-play events or on-air shows is preferred.

Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
Run board for talk shows and Padres baseball games
Manage on-air content
Edit audio files
Screen calls
Engage with the listener community
Proudly represent 97.3 The Fan while interacting with on-air guests, experts and officials
Protect the company's FCC license
Must be able to perform with little supervision

Required & Preferred:
Minimum of two years of radio experience preferred. Must be computer literate; have multi-tasking skills, and have the ability to prioritize.
Knowledge of how to produce a radio broadcast and knowledge of how to run a commercial board is essential.
A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
