A Booking Representative I performs clerical and public contact work in rendering a variety of services to the general public and to tenants renting facilities under the jurisdiction of the Department of Enterprise Services; responsible for independently booking routine events and performances; and performs other related duties as required.
Current Vacancy Information: There are two (2) vacancies with the Department of Enterprise Services, Customer Services Division, Reservations and Sales Section. Under general supervision, the Booking Representative I works with assigned and prospective tenants to book events and performances and encourage the rental of the Neal S. Blaisdell Center and Waikiki Shell facilities.
Special Working Conditions: Ability to sit and work at a desk for long periods of time. Ability to walk and climb through the facilities in order to conduct tenant site inspections.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Three (3) years of clerical experience, one (1) of which shall have involved public contact work pertaining to the booking, reservation or rental of facilities.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Possession of an appropriate valid driver\'s license (Type 3/automobile), prior to appointment.
