Job Description


Construction Company seeking bookkeeper/Admin Asst. Must be comfortable with all bookkeeping phases from data entry through general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
Job duties include:

  • Recording account payable invoices;
  • Obtaining proper approvals; A/P reporting; cash disbursements;
  • Recording accounts receivables;
  • Receipts including posting receivables, fees, and other transactions;
  • Reconciling member ledgers and general ledger;
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Month end entries and reconciliations;
  • Preparing financial statements and reports for properties and owners.
  • Payroll data collection and reporting to third party payroll processors;
  • Issuing 1099\'s and preparing 1096;
  • Answering phone lines, A/R collections, office administration and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Highly knowledgeable in full-charge bookkeeping functions
  • Punctual, reliable, an ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Criminal background check and drug testing required
Work is in small office environment, M-F, 30 hours per week.
