Job Description
Construction Company seeking bookkeeper/Admin Asst. Must be comfortable with all bookkeeping phases from data entry through general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
Job duties include:
- Recording account payable invoices;
- Obtaining proper approvals; A/P reporting; cash disbursements;
- Recording accounts receivables;
- Receipts including posting receivables, fees, and other transactions;
- Reconciling member ledgers and general ledger;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Month end entries and reconciliations;
- Preparing financial statements and reports for properties and owners.
- Payroll data collection and reporting to third party payroll processors;
- Issuing 1099\'s and preparing 1096;
- Answering phone lines, A/R collections, office administration and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Highly knowledgeable in full-charge bookkeeping functions
- Punctual, reliable, an ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Criminal background check and drug testing required
