Our client is a real estate investment firm focusing on high-quality properties and development opportunities, leveraging deep industry expertise to create long-term value. The Bookkeeper will have a dual-role role maintaining accurate financial records of the real estate portfolio and ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of the office.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily financial transactions of underlying properties including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking
Record and reconcile all financial transactions in the property management and accounting software
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely processing of vendor invoice payments and property related cash receipts
Coordinate with external accountants for audits
Maintain and update property files, tenant lease agreements, and tenant information within the database
Manage tenant billing for rent, CAM charges, utilities, and other recoverable expenses
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
3-7 years of related bookkeeping/administrative experience
Real estate experience preferred
Proficiency in accounting software's
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Salary Range:
$80,000-$90,000
