Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for a contract position! The Bookkeeper will be the primary person to ensure accurate and timely processing of the accounting operations handling the financial statements and will also process accounts payable and accounts receivables for several entities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Balance accounts by reconciling entries
- Maintain and balance general ledger
- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received and record deposits

Requirements
- Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Experience with payroll
- Solid understanding of QuickBooks
- Expertise in ADP Online
- Deep understanding of accounts payable
- Foundational knowledge in accounts receivable
