We have a client in need of organized and self-driven accounting professionals in order to succeed in this deadline-driven role with minimal supervision. The Bookkeeper is in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and month-end closing. In addition, the Bookkeeper will perform data entry, perform cash applications, and full cycle A/P including some coding as well as light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation. Your responsibilities in this role

- Prepare cash flow projections, as needed

- Accounts Payable

- Direct monthly accounting close

- Support monthly accounting close

- Look after general ledger

- Work on special projects occasionally

- Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

- Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

- Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation

- Assemble subcontractor 1099\'s, and any other IRS year-end requirement

- Knowledgeable with Accounts Receivable

Requirements

- Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills

- 2+ years of related experience- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

- NetSuite experience

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- Self-starter and strong ethical standards

- Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
