As an integral part of a team, the Boutique Associate is responsible for continuously looking for ways to improve each customer's experience from providing exceptional guest service to assisting with various aspects of retail operations including receiving, tagging, displaying, selling, processing settlement, and gift wrapping of merchandise purchased by guests.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



1. Greet, acknowledge, and offer assistance to all arriving/departing customers.

2. Maintain complete knowledge of:

a. All departmental policies/service procedures/standards.

b. Proper use of equipment.

3. Complete opening and closing duties as assigned accurately.

4. Monitor and maintain presentation of merchandise, restock as needed.

5. Monitor quality of merchandise.

6. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all work areas.

7. Assists customers with various retail services in person and over the phone.

8. Complete monthly inventory counts.

9. Packs and prepares order for shipping and processes payment.

10. Perform all other duties as may be required or assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE



High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate. Any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position. Prior guest relations experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES



Able to anticipate guest needs; respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. Ensure familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Able to maintain positive guest relations at all times. Able to operate a Point-of-Sale system operation and manual procedures. Able to operate a Property Management System. Able to maintain an accurate bank.

Able to move display furniture and equipment. Able to lift 25 lbs. with ease. Able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours throughout work shift. Maintain stationary position for up to 8 hours throughout work shift.
