Job purpose

The Brand Management Director is an entrepreneurial-minded, high-achieving professional with a strong track record creating, and managing, strategic 360-campaigns that breakthrough the cluttered paid media, earned media and experiential landscape and simultaneously deliver against 26Health\xe2\x80\x99s brand & business strategy. With a direct line to C-Suite leadership decision making, the incumbent will provide management and mentoring to our internal marketing team.

Duties and responsibilities

Marketing Disciplines

  • Implement the US marketing strategy, working closely with our community engagement team, agency partners and COO
  • Creative thinker with ability to execute (and connect) disruptive advertising and marketing ideas into strategic cross-channel campaigns, including but not limited to social media marketing, influencer & partner marketing, PR, paid media, channel, digital, experiential.
  • Responsible for leading, presenting and adapting plans in collaboration our marketing, design and website agencies, providing feedback to internal partners and key stakeholders.
  • Pro-active refinement of tactical campaigns in reaction to our organization\xe2\x80\x99s needs and the changing political/societal landscape. Set 26Health apart within the industry.
  • Responsible for supervising \xe2\x80\x93 and co-drafting \xe2\x80\x93 copy for marketing materials and content where relevant, working collaboratively with the copywriter
  • Help 26Health departmental teams drive greater impact in their day-to-day services.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and content optimization.
  • Develop, manage and allocate marketing budget.
  • Create reports on marketing metrics.
  • Co-ordinate with community management team on production of marketing materials and effective implementation of marketing materials and measurement of success/KPIs for the events
  • Understanding of social justice and community organizing and cultural competency.
  • Strong commitment to social and economic justice for marginalized communities.
Research
  • Passionate about consumer insights, data and cultural trends
  • Examine and monitor trends within the industry and among our principle communities, as well as what\xe2\x80\x99s relevant to our patients and culture. Adapt marketing strategies as necessary.
  • Distill and identify trends and data-driven insights that then can be used to inform strategy and creative marketing opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors\xe2\x80\x99 marketing activities
Content Management
  • Direct social media and digital content calendar and execution
  • Responsible for leading - and directing - creation of content for social and digital channels,
  • Responsible for leading management of 26Heallth website
  • Review analytics from digital and social channels, identifying opportunities to enhance content and website engagement and website communication.
  • Relay patient concerns received via website or social media channels to appropriate department heads for management.
Team Management
  • Provide strong leadership to the marketing assistant including coaching, development and strategic/tactical direction.
  • Ability to brief & guide our internal teams and agency partners in an effective way.
  • Collaborate across design, website and PR agencies and internal 26Health teams to drive work that delivers on the brand and business strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that translate into clear and concise presentation decks and other materials
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and exceptionally organized
  • High Initiative and a proactive problem solver
  • Continual updates, reporting and progression reports to the COO [and Brand Strategist]
  • Grow the marketing team
Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in related field or experience commensurate with education
  • 6 to 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 proven experience in marketing and/or brand management (agency side or in-house)
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Functional understanding of InDesign, Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Ability to multitask, motivate business departments and own the development, management, execution, and measurement of the marketing campaigns.
Working conditions
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
