Our breakfast attendant will create a variety of daily breakfast offerings while engaging guests and maintaining food safety standards.Hours: 5:30 am to 11:00 am - full time possibility if you are willing to assist with housekeeping/laundry after 11:30 amSummary: The Breakfast Attendant position is responsible for assembling & disassembling breakfast buffets, & ensuring the breakfast bar remains well-stocked at all times. Our guests are our number one priority, we expect a candidate who is willing to go above & beyond to care for our guests.Essential Functions:
- Ensuring the breakfast buffet remains well-stocked at all times
- Providing customers with condiment upon request
- Sets out plates, napkins, cups, bowls, & utensils for guest use
- Prepares coffee and/or tea
- Keeps juices & other perishables such as butter & yogurt on ice
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance & dress
- Follows company policies & procedures
- Clearing cutlery & crockery from customers tables
- Resolving customers queries & complaints
- Restock food & supplies as needed to ensure consistent service
- Be knowledgeable on the general area & engage with in conversation with guests on their plans for the day
- Ensuring that customers vacate the breakfast area by the close of meal service
- Sweeping, vacuuming, & mopping the floors after each meal service
- Cleaning & sanitizing tables/countertops after each meal
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor on duty
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred not required)
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role (Preferred not required)
- Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, & verbal communication skills
- Attentive to detail
- Friendly, service-driven disposition
- Ability to work shifts, over weekends, & on public holidays, as needed
