: Bridgeport Manual Mill Operator with Prototrac or Accu-Rite ControllersPosition Title: Bridgeport Manual Mill Operator
Location: Amherst, New Hampshire
Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm
Hourly Pay rate: $21-$22Position Overview: This Company is a manufacturer of custom thermoset resin castings utilizing epoxy, urethane and silicone materials designed for highly dependable performance in hundreds of demanding applications and environments. This Company creates components for a wide range of industries including Semiconductor, RF Microwave and Medical.They are seeking a skilled Bridgeport Manual Mill Operator with experience in operating Prototrac or Accu-Rite controllers to join their dynamic team in Amherst, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual milling, an eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation and Setup: Efficiently set up and operate Bridgeport manual mills equipped with Prototrac or Accu-Rite controllers to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Programming: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to program mills accurately.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Make necessary adjustments to maintain precision.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on milling machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and any deviations from standard processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred, but would consider less, operating Bridgeport manual mills, with a preference for experience using Prototrac or Accu-Rite controllers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files. Strong understanding of milling operations, tooling, and materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to produce precise and high-quality work.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in machining is a plus.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
