Leafy8 is a Florida-based hemp/CBD brand serving more than 100 locations nationwide from wholesale distributors to retail smoke shops, and has distinguished itself through their attention to creating consistent, high-quality, lab-scrutinized natural healing products backed by a unique and memorable customer service experience.
Leafy8 is seeking a dedicated team-player who is capable of running front-of-house retail operations, delivering excellent customer service and assisting in all aspects of production.
Budtenders need to be versatile and quick on their feet, able to be competent manufacturing technicians in the back while also providing a memorable, educational experience for customers up front.
Customers look to our Budtenders as being a wealth of information about the products we offer. Ideal candidates are looking to grow and expand with Leafy8, and are interested in sharing their passion, motivation, as well as their diverse and unique backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide efficient, proactive production support from preparation to packaging using professional food handling and hygiene guidelines. Deliver a consistent, high quality customer experience by being a friendly and knowledgeable representative of the Leafy8 brand. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the retail shop and all areas of the production environment, including equipment and supplies. Maintain inventory of ingredients, products, labels, packaging while anticipating customer demand. Fulfill delivery orders or wholesale shipments as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
Must be 21 years of age or older - no exceptions.
Knowledge of the hemp/cannabis industry, or strong willingness to learn Excellent customer service and minimum 2 years POS/retail experience Familiarity with food safety, kitchen procedures, and proper sanitation practices including handling of raw material Stellar written/verbal communication skills, reliability, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and effective time management practices are essential Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs of weight as needed Flexibility (available to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)*Only candidates who complete the assessment and questionnaire will be considered for an interview.
