Under supervision of the Dean of Industrial and Related Technologies, Instructor will be responsible for overall classroom instruction for the Building Construction Fundamentals and Plumbing program to include: preparing lesson plans, developing programs/syllabi, developing/meeting goals and objectives, evaluating students, maintaining lab/equipment, maintaining program certification, ensuring safety, completing annual staff development activities, and assisting with recruitment. The instructor must demonstrate knowledge of subject matter being taught and hold valid teaching credentials as defined by SBTCE, College Policy, and SACSCOC criteria. Instructor is expected to participate in college activities and serve on departmental and college committees.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Associate Degree and two years of teaching experience with industry level or industry training experience. South Carolina Residential Builder License.
