SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Service Technician Instructor for our fast-paced, Center for Employment Training program. SOME Center for Employment Training is a tuition-free adult workforce training program that prepares adult learners for national, industry-recognized certifications for careers in Healthcare and the Building Trades. SOME CET empowers people to move out of homelessness and poverty and into living-wage careers through hard and soft skills training, adult basic education, and career development.
Position Description: The incumbent develops and delivers the Building Maintenance Service Tech course to students and manages the classroom and coordinates curriculum development.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (40 hours/week)
Required: High School Diploma or GED; 3-5 yrs. experience in Building Maintenance in a residential/apartment setting
Required License/Certification: Certification in Electrical, Carpentry, HVAC, or Plumbing
