SummaryThe Medicare Risk Adjustment Analytical Consulting team is searching for a highly motivated and collaborative business analytics advisor to identify key analytics needs and provide insights which address business questions and influence decision-making. You will work closely with colleagues across the Risk Adjustment business, data science, and data engineering teams to develop research questions, create hypotheses, gather and synthesize data, and summarize findings in a clear and concise manner. You will develop reporting solutions to inform and empower business leaders. Additionally, this person will become a subject matter expert in Risk Adjustment data in order to advise on data science and data engineering projects.ResponsibilitiesGenerate actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders based on deep understanding of risk adjustment business areas (e.g. provider outreach, retrospective coding, documentation gap closure, etc.)Presentation of results and recommendations to non-technical business partners and stakeholders to help drive the decision-making process and support business operationsConsult independently with stakeholders across the RA business to prioritize and define key strategic analysesPartner with data engineering and other colleagues as a subject matter expert to drive structural data improvements which will enable better long-term analytics capabilitiesBuild reports and monitor trends to identify analytics needs by identifying emerging risks/opportunities.Work effectively and efficiently on multiple tasks and deadlines, while producing high quality resultsEnsure quality and integrity of data collected and analyses performedQualifications3+ years of health care or related experience. Risk Adjustment experience a plusSkilled in manipulating and analyzing data using SQL and Teradata/TDV. Python experience preferredExperience in Tableau development and adept at effective data visualizationProven track record of extracting meaningful insights from large and complex data setsExperience in advanced analytics and data science a plusDemonstrated experience working with non-technical business partners in consultative mannerStrong communication skills (e.g. experience translating complex analyses into easy-to-follow slides/materials)Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and comfortable with ambiguityIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 95,200 - 158,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.We want you to be healthy, balanced, and feel secure.
